About
History
Respect my work was created in February 2005 following a misadventure
with someone on the Web. This person in question had taken, without my
authorization and credit, a background of one of my old designs. Although
the offence is not a big disaster, I tried several times by email to make
her understand the gesture and the consequences of the fact that it could
arrive if she began again somewhere else. Naturally, she denied to have
taken the background of my site.
Well, I would not tell you the continuation of the events between this
person and me. I rather will say to you that its gesture made me some
reflections. Even if I knew that it had already existed there of the cases
even more serious than mine, I could not understand (even if I sympathized
with the person) all the frustration felt with the idea to be made stole.
Then, I made research on the Web. I wanted to know if there were cliques
and\or webrings on this subject. I was surprised to see that there had
not been many sites of this kind and the history does not say why the
latter did not function. Then, I said myself that one needed a site on
the respect of work.
Why?
I thought of this question and here why I decided to create this site:
- I have enough of to see on the Web people which does not know what it is only the respect and which steals without scruple the work of the others.
- I have enough of to see on the Web people who, to save their skin, prefer to lie on the origin of the image which they took.
- I have enough of to see people who, in more of stolen, touch the creation of the person without asking the permission.
- Many sites closed because of the reasons mentioned above.
- Some people do not even dare to put their own creations (artistic and literary), because they have the fear of the steal.
- Unfortunately, the "black lists" show that the problem is still not solved.
- I want to sensitize people with the problem of the non-respect of the work and the consequences of their gestures.
- By sensitizing people with the problem, try to find solutions practical and useful.
- By joining the site, you show that you want be respected.
Which addresses this site?
For any people who to create (as much artistic than literary and the list is long) and which wants to shout highly and strongly the right to the respect.
